The scale-model of the North Union Street features familiar buildings and businesses crafted from gingerbread, icing and candy is currently on display at the Tri-County Arts Council.
Eric Jones and Jody Stephan, a Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts graduate, baked the village with help from Angelica Porcuri and finished completing this festive 22 foot by 4 foot street space.
The gingerbread North Union Street display has been months in the making. Jody Stephan baked the village with help from Angelica Porcuri, who decorated it, and Brittany Bokman, who did interior decorating surrounding the display.
This once in a lifetime gingerbread masterpiece of North Union Street is ready for all to enjoy! The Ornamental Olean Project is now open at the TCAC Building until December 30th.
TCAC is open on Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the Ornamental Olean Gingerbread Project. December 3 from 12 to 3pm. After Christmas, the display will be back open on Tuesday, Dec. 26 through Thursday, Dec. 28 from noon to 6 p.m. and the last two days will be Friday, Dec. 29 and Saturday, Dec. 30 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tri-County Arts Council is located at 110 and 114 West State Street. There is street parking and rear parking lot.
