Located on 12,000 acres of the Allegheny Reservoir, Onoville Marina Park is one of our best kept secrets. Camp, boat, or simply visit for the day. You can experience 91 miles of non-commercialized shoreline with secluded bays, allowing you to unplug from the rest of the world while on the water. Onoville opens for their 2023 season on April 28th.
Hike the trails at Griffis Sculpture Park, that's located on 450 acres, to discover 250+ steel sculptures that you can touch, climb on, and take photos with. Griffis Sculpture Park is one of America's largest and oldest sculpture parks and opens for their 2023 season on May 1st.
Challenge yourself on the 3rd largest aerial park in the United States when Sky High Adventure Park opens for weekends on May 5th. There is a series of platforms, obstacles, bridges, and zip lines built in a 5 acre section of the woods and tree tops. The Adventure Park will be open daily on June 16th.
While you're visiting Sky High Adventure Park you can also take a ride on the Sky Flyer Mountain Coaster. One or two riders sit in the "car" that will pull you up the hill and then you'll zig zag down through the mountain, controlling your own speed! The Mountain Coaster opens on May 19th for weekends only and then daily on June 16th.
Hike through the world's largest exposure of quartz conglomerate at Rock City Park. On average, the hiking trail takes 45-60 minutes, but you'll want to take your time as you'll love gazing up at the rock formations that are several stories tall. Rock City Park opens for their 2023 season on May 1st.
