This post is long-winded as it gives you some options for your trip into Cattaraugus County.
Amish Country & Onoville
Directions
From the East or West (Exit 16) on I-86
From the North take Route 62 from Erie County into Cattaraugus County.
From the South from Pennsylvania take Route 394 North.

Go Fishing & Explore the old growth forest at Zoar Valley
Explore the Amish & English businesses along New York's Amish Trail
Stop by and get some cheese at the Valley View Cheese Company with about 40 varieties to choose from! (Monday - Saturday, 8:30AM-5:00PM; Sunday Closed)

Take a drive down to Onoville Marina and enjoy the view over the water.

Horseshoe Inn - From burgers to steak they offer a wide variety of foods. Hunters will love this place with all kinds of guns on the walls.

The seasonal Red House Restaurant is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and is located in Allegany State Park. Autumn hours for the Red House Restaurant are Friday 4pm - 8pm, Saturday 11am - 6pm and Sundays 8:30am - 3pm.

Double Diamond has the best burgers in Ellicottville! Be sure to ask for their ribs or chicken wings with the Double Diamond's special sauce. Live music every Friday and Saturday night! Largest selection of microbrews in Ellicottville. Their soups are excellent.
